Strengthening university-enterprise links in high-quality human resource training
A delegation from Pegatron Vietnam Co., Ltd., including key leaders of the company, recently paid a visit, held a working session, and presented Vietnam Maritime University with a computer lab worth 800 million VND.

The lab includes 28 computers serving teaching and learning activities, and 2 high-performance computers to support lecturers and researchers in studying projects and scientific topics. This continues to be a vivid demonstration of the effective cooperation and close linkage between the university and FDI enterprises that has been implemented over many years.
In recent years, Vietnam Maritime University and Pegatron Vietnam Co., Ltd. have coordinated to implement many meaningful cooperative activities, making important contributions to the development of both the university and the enterprise.
With a 70-year tradition of development, Vietnam Maritime University has been invested in by the Government as a key national university for education and research serving the sustainable development of the maritime economy through 2030, with a vision toward 2045.
To realize this goal, promoting cooperation with enterprises—especially leading global high-tech companies such as Pegatron—is of great importance. This cooperation creates opportunities for lecturers and students to access real production practices, exchange knowledge, conduct joint research, and implement projects. As a result, it helps improve the quality of human resource training and contributes to the socio-economic development of Vietnam.
