Vietnam designates May 6 logistic day
The Ministry of Industry and Trade has issued Decision No. 1065 dated May 6, 2026, recognizing Vietnam Logistics Day and Vietnam Logistics Week. Accordingly, May 6 every year is recognized as Vietnam Logistics Day, and the week containing the date is recognized as Vietnam Logistics Week.

The organization of Vietnam Logistics Day and Vietnam Logistics Week annually will create an official national milestone to focus on communication and dissemination of policies and laws on logistics; raise awareness among society, the business community and workers about the role of logistics in socio-economic development; and honor the contributions of businesses, organizations and individuals operating in this sector. At the same time, it creates an important foundation to promote connections between logistics enterprises and shippers, production sectors, trade and e-commerce; strengthen linkages between central and local levels, between public and private sectors, and between domestic and international stakeholders in developing the logistics market. This is considered an important soft policy tool in line with modern governance trends, contributing to the implementation of Vietnam’s Logistics Development Strategy and helping Vietnam gradually become a logistics hub with regional and international standing.
