Featuring around 120–150 documents, photographs and documentary films collected from various sources, the exhibition is divided into three themes: “Hai Phong – A Port City in the Flow of History,” “Hai Duong – A Land of the Eastern Region Rich in Tradition,” and “Hai Phong – A New Role, A New Position.”

The exhibition contributes to raising public awareness of the value of archival materials as a particularly important source of information with legal, historical and practical significance. At the same time, it helps educate younger generations about historical traditions, foster national pride and love for their homeland, thereby building of a more prosperous, civilized and modern port city.
