Hai Phong backs household firms shifting to enterprises
The transition from household businesses to enterprises is increasingly becoming an inevitable trend, helping expand operations and create momentum for sustainable growth.
After many years operating in the food and beverage sector, this household business officially converted into an enterprise on March 1, 2026. The move has not only improved financial transparency, but has also made it easier to access government support policies and enhance credibility with partners and customers. As a result, the business is now better positioned to expand its scale and improve operational efficiency.
“Previously, we operated under the household business model. While it offered flexibility, it also posed many limitations in terms of scale and growth potential. Following Resolution 68, we decided to convert into an enterprise to improve transparency, professionalism and business expansion. The transition has made it easier for us to access capital, markets and government support policies, while also reducing legal risks and enhancing our credibility with partners.”
In recent years, Hai Phong’s tax authority has stepped up communication, guidance and direct support for household businesses.
A total of 48 household businesses converted into enterprises in the second half of 2025, with another 11 making the transition in the first quarter of 2026.
The transition is helping change perceptions among household business owners, encouraging more transparent, efficient and sustainable operations.
