On the morning of September 4, Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong People’s Committee Hoang Minh Cuong conducted field inspections of several investment projects involving industrial clusters and new residential areas in the communes of Nam Sach, Hop Tien, and Tran Phu. He also chaired a working session with leaders of six communes—Nam Sach, Thai Tan, Tran Phu, Hop Tien, An Phu, and Nam An Phu—to review the implementation of Resolution No. 11-NQ/TU of the Hai Phong City Party Committee.

Digital transformation is helping the Customs sector improve management efficiency while facilitating import and export activities for businesses. In Hai Phong, many stages of the customs clearance process have been carried out electronically, helping shorten processing time and reduce costs for businesses.

On this occasion, city leaders organized delegations to attend opening ceremonies, visit schools and encourage teachers and students. Ngo Quyen High School in Le Chan Ward was selected as Hai Phong’s main connection point, linked online with the central venue at Muong Khuong Ethnic Boarding School in Muong Khuong Commune, Lao Cai Province. Educational institutions across the city joined the nationwide opening program via live broadcasts on VTV1 or VOV1.

In the context of deeper international integration, a company’s competitiveness is determined not only by technology and investment capital, but also by the quality of management and operational efficiency. In Hai Phong, many businesses are adopting the Japanese KAIZEN model of continuous improvement to enhance productivity and quality while pursuing sustainable development.

At the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron, General Secretary and President To Lam, together with his wife and a high-level Vietnamese delegation, is paying an official visit to the French Republic and attending the Space Summit. Joining the working delegation of General Secretary and President To Lam, his wife and the high-level Vietnamese delegation, is Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Hai Phong Party Committee and Head of the Hai Phong National Assembly Delegation Le Ngoc Chau. Over the past years, cooperation between Hai Phong and the French Republic has been maintained comprehensively, with notable achievements in local cooperation, seaports and logistics, transport infrastructure, healthcare, education, heritage conservation and cultural exchanges.

On the evening of Aug. 29, the Viet Nam Classical Music Association, in coordination with the Hai Phong People's Committee, held the “Realms of Sound” concert at the Hoa Phuong Theatre to mark the 81st anniversary of National Day on Sept. 2.
