On the morning of September 17, Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong People’s Committee Le Trung Kien chaired a hybrid in-person and online conference to review one year of implementing Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW, dated May 4, 2025, of the Politburo on developing the private economic sector in Hai Phong.

The Standing Committee of the Hai Phong City Party Committee has recently issued a plan to organize a scientific conference themed “80 Years Since President Ho Chi Minh’s Visit to Hai Phong (October 20–21, 1946 – October 20–21, 2026): Imprints – Journey – Aspiration for Development Together with the Country.”

The Politburo Resolution No. 26 on developing Vietnamese tourism into a spearhead economic sector in the new era sets out the goal of developing high-quality, smart, green and creative tourism, rich in cultural identity, with high added value and the capacity to compete regionally and internationally. These broad orientations also create new requirements and momentum for localities with strong tourism potential, including Hai Phong.

On the evening of September 13, the Hai Phong–India Arts Exchange took place at the “Connecting Passions” performance venue on Bach Dang Walking Street, Le Thanh Nghi Ward. Featuring distinctive artistic performances from Vietnam and India, along with direct interaction between artists and audiences, the program created a vibrant evening of cultural exchange, contributing to greater mutual understanding and closer people-to-people ties between the two countries.

On the morning of September 14, Chairman of the Hai Phong People’s Committee Do Thanh Trung led a delegation to visit, inspect, and work with Pegatron Vietnam Co., Ltd. at Nam Dinh Vu Industrial Park (Zone 2), Dong Hai Ward. The delegation included Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong People’s Committee Le Trung Kien, along with representatives of relevant departments, agencies, and local authorities.
