On the morning of January 13 in Hanoi, the Central Secretariat organized the National Conference on breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation.

On the evening of January 11, at the Viet-Czech Friendship Labor Cultural Palace, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) officially opened the Trade Union Tet Maảket 2025. The event, taking place from January 11 to 17, 2025, features over 200 booths from over 125 enterprises, units, and households from over 30 provinces and cities across the country.

On the afternoon of January 9, Hai Phong City’s Department of Science and Technology organized a conference to summarize science, technology, and innovation activities in 2024 and deploy tasks for 2025.

In their working visit to Hai Phong City, the delegation of Deputy Prime Minister of the Lao Peoples Democratic Republic Saleumxay Kommasith paid a visit to VSIP Hai Phong Urban, Industrial and Service Area in Thuy Nguyen District.

In 2024, Hai Phong Citys foreign affairs activities have recorded breakthroughs in all areas such as Party diplomacy, State diplomacy, peoples diplomacy, and work on overseas Vietnamese. In addition, many investment promotion, trade, cultural, and educational exchange activities have been effectively implemented, facilitating the citys socio-economic development, and enhancing the citys reputation, position, and influence in the eyes of international friends.

On December 30th morning, Mr. Le Tien Chau, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Hai Phong City Party Committee, and Head of Hai Phong National Assembly Delegation, received and worked with the Lao Government delegation led by Mr. Saleumxay Kommasith, Member of Politburo, Deputy Prime Minister of Laos. Mr. Nguyen Van Tung, Deputy Secretary of Hai Phong Citys Party Committee, and Chairman of Hai Phong Peoples Committee also attended the working session.
