The Lao delegation were led by Phou Tha Nou Phet Say Som Bath, Secretary of the Vientiane Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council, and Soukvath Mahavongxaxa Nang, Vice Chairman of the Oudomxay province.
At the meeting, Party Secretary Le Ngoc Chau said the great friendship and special solidarity between Vietnam and Laos was an invaluable asset nurtured by generations of leaders and people of the two countries. He said Hai Phong was ready to share experience and support Lao localities in human resources training, investment attraction and industrial development.
Representatives of the Lao delegations congratulated Hai Phong on its recent achievements and expressed confidence that the visit would create new opportunities for cooperation, helping Lao localities learn from Hai Phong’s dynamic development models, particularly in the city’s areas of strength. They said the visit also contributed to reinforcing solidarity between localities.
