Supporting preservation of traditional crafts
In recent years, Agribank branches across the city have introduced a range of preferential lending programs, enabling household producers, cooperatives and craft village businesses to access financing more easily, expand production, improve product quality and gradually bring traditional products to wider markets.
To preserve the cultivation area of the traditional Bang La jujube variety, Mr. Bui Duy Dung, a grower in Nam Do Son Ward, has for many years pioneered the adoption of new farming methods. To upgrade his nearly three-hectare farm, which combines aquaculture with jujubee cultivation, he obtained a loan from Agribank Do Son to invest in expanding production and business activities.

Facing mounting challenges for traditional craft villages, the city has introduced various support measures. Businesses and households in My Dong bronze casting village in Thuy Nguyen have also gained access to credit to invest in production and business expansion. As the country's leading lender supporting agriculture, rural development and farmers, Agribank continues to provide financing for production and business activities while implementing dedicated credit programs for key agricultural products and value-chain lending for commercially significant products with broad economic impact, contributing to the implementation of the agricultural restructuring plan approved by the Prime Minister.
