Hai Phong prepares "My homeland Hai Phong" concert
With efforts to promote the Port City's cultural and artistic values, Musician Xuan Binh's concert, My Homeland Hai Phong, will be staged at Hoa Phuong Theatre on July 11. The event is a tribute to the city that inspired his music while supporting Hai Phong's ambition to become a City of Music.
The concert will feature 17 of Xuan Binh's representative works celebrating Hai Phong's history, culture, people and daily life, portraying both the city's rich historical legacy and its youthful dynamism during a new stage of development.
The performance will bring together 65 musicians, combining a symphony orchestra, choir and electronic band, alongside well-known artists from Hai Phong in particular and Vietnam in general. It will begin at 8 p.m. on July 11 at Hoa Phuong Theatre and will be broadcast live on the television channels of Hai Phong Newspaper and Radio-Television.
The concert marks a milestone in Xuan Binh's career while helping promote Hai Phong's image, culture and people in support of the city's goal of becoming a City of Music in the years ahead.
