Rescue team from Hai Phong public security completes international mission in Venezuela
Viet Nam's search and rescue team has returned home after successfully completing its mission to assist earthquake recovery efforts in Venezuela.

The delegation consisted of 124 officers and personnel, including 10 officers from the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Hai Phong Public Security. During nearly two weeks of operations in Playa Grande Ward, La Guaira State—the area hardest hit by the twin earthquakes on June 24—the team worked under extremely challenging conditions while facing the constant risk of secondary structural collapses. The Vietnamese rescue team recovered the bodies of 57 victims from the rubble, assisted local residents in relocating their belongings, visited nearly 500 affected households, and distributed essential relief supplies.
By successfully accomplishing the mission, Vietnam's search and rescue force, including the officers from Hai Phong City Public Security, helped demonstrate the responsibility, professionalism, and humanitarian spirit of the Vietnam People's Public Security Force, while further strengthening the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Venezuela.
