According to the draft contest rules, the competition is open to Vietnamese and foreign organizations and individuals living and working in Hai Phong, regardless of age, occupation or ethnicity, whose technical solutions are the result of innovation, technical improvements and the application of science and technology developed and implemented in Hai Phong.
Technical solutions that have never been entered into any competition, or that were previously submitted but did not receive awards and have since been improved, are also eligible.
Entries will be accepted in the following categories: information technology and telecommunications; mechanical engineering, automation, construction and transport; materials, chemicals and energy; agriculture, forestry, fisheries, natural resources and the environment; healthcare and pharmaceuticals; and education and training.
The submission deadline is April 15, 2027, with the award ceremony expected to take place in the third quarter of 2027.
