On August 24, 2026, Hai Phong City People’s Committee Vice Chairman Hoang Minh Cuong agreed in principle to the organization of the KXC Hai Phong Expo 2026 by the Hai Phong Association of Construction Contractors, the Hai Phong Association for Industrial Development Support, and the Hai Phong Young Architects Club (the Organizing Committee), following a proposal from the Department of Industry and Trade.

The Vice Chairman assigned the Department of Industry and Trade, Department of Construction, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Department of Science and Technology, Department of Education and Training, Department of Health, Department of Foreign Affairs, Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board, Hai Phong City Police, and the Gia Vien Ward People’s Committee to provide guidance and support to the Organizing Committee, within their respective functions and responsibilities, in completing the relevant procedures and requirements in accordance with the law.

The Organizing Committee is responsible for fully complying with all procedures and requirements for the exhibition; assuming overall responsibility for its organization, including content, programs, mobilization and management of participating businesses; selecting service providers with appropriate qualifications, capabilities and experience; and ensuring security and public order, safety, fire prevention and firefighting, environmental sanitation, food safety where applicable, and other legally required conditions.

The exhibition is expected to feature approximately 150 standard booths and special exhibition areas, attracting around 80–110 participating companies and organizations. These are expected to include businesses, investors, contractors and consulting firms operating in architecture, construction, industry, supporting industries, technology, energy, environmental services, industrial real estate and logistics, as well as industry associations, trade promotion organizations, educational and research institutions, and business support organizations.

As part of the exhibition, the Organizing Committee plans to hold thematic seminars on green building and eco-industrial park development, new materials and energy-saving solutions, digital transformation in design, construction and operation, supply-chain connections in construction and supporting industries.

A B2B business-matching program is also planned to connect investors, general contractors, factories, suppliers, distributors and other participating businesses.
