Effective post-clearance audit
To facilitate trade and accelerate the shift from pre-inspection to post-clearance audit, since the beginning of the year, leaders of the Customs Sub-Department, region III have directed and guided relevant units to develop detailed plans for post-clearance audit and inspection.
Specifically, file re-examination has been implemented in a synchronized manner, closely following risk management guidelines, yielding initial positive results. The review, assessment and classification of enterprises have contributed to improving management quality, enabling timely identification of violation signs and the application of appropriate inspection measures. Re-examination results for declarations flagged for price risks have detected and handled numerous irregularities, thereby increasing state budget revenue. At the same time, thematic re-examinations demonstrate proactive management, aiming to control high-risk sectors and commodities.
The sub-department has completed the review and assessment of 145 processing, export-producing and export-processing enterprises in the locality that had previously undergone re-examination. Based on the assessment results, risk levels have been clearly synthesized and classified, allowing timely proposals for appropriate management and inspection measures for each enterprise group./.
