Lighting Typical Architectural Buildings Of The City
Lunar New Year 2024 is approaching, and along with spring flower decorations, urban lighting is also taken care of. This year, six typical architectural works of the City will be decorated with new lighting systems, becoming a highlight for the urban appearance and creating colorful spaces during Tet and spring.

The City Post Office - a French architectural work more than 100 years old - has just been renovated and added decorative lighting to ensure traffic safety and increase the aesthetics, contributing to conservating and promoting its unique architectural values. The post office is also one of the ideal check-in locations at night for people and tourists when coming to Hai Phong City.
Along with the City Post Office, five other typical architectural works have also been renovated and decorated with decorative lighting, including the City Convention Center, the Department of Planning and Investment Headquarters, the Department of Culture and Sports, the city’s Public Security, the Hai Phong branch of the State Bank of Vietnam, etc. with a total cost of 2.3 billion VND, from the city budget.
In addition to decorating typical architectural works, the functional units reviewed, maintained, and replaced broken light bulbs, ensuring that 55,000 light bulbs are lit at night on roads and alleys. The Department of Construction also requires lighting agencies and units to decorate buildings and headquarters with color tones and densities in harmony with the public space, creating beauty at night without adversely affecting the building architecture during the day. During the Lunar New Year, 100% of the lighting and decorative lighting systems are operated continuously to serve the people to enjoy spring and celebrate Tet in a joyful, exciting, and colorful atmosphere. /.
