Keeping beaches clean during peak tourist season
As part of efforts to build a bright, green, clean, beautiful and safe tourism environment in Do Son, local authorities, businesses and service providers have joined hands to improve environment along the beaches. Their efforts have helped create a cleaner and more welcoming environment for residents and visitors while raising public awareness of environmental protection.
Although not formally responsible for beach sanitation, staffs from GauDS Restaurant and other businesses along the beach near the 295 Convalescent Center have voluntarily devoted time and arrange staffs to cleaning the area. They have also encouraged residents and visitors not to litter, helping reduce environmental pollution.

For many years, Hai Phong Public Works and Tourism Services Joint Stock Company has deployed workers, machinery and vehicles to collect waste every morning and afternoon. During periods of rough seas, when large amounts of debris wash ashore, cleanup operations are carried out more frequently to ensure the beaches remain clean.
