An Bien Ward is among the most densely populated areas in the city, with ongoing several major projects. Thanks to a spirit of unity across the political system and timely, comprehensive leadership from the Party Committee and local authorities, the ward has become increasingly closer to residents.
Among 45 wards in the city, An Bien ranked ninth in administrative reform index and fifth in citizen satisfaction with administrative services. Many socio-economic targets have exceeded set plans.
Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong People’s Committee Vu Tien Phung urged the locality to further promote solidarity and innovation, strengthen coordination across the grassroots political system, and develop more typical models in socio-economic development.
He also called for continued administrative reform, digital transformation, and improved public service quality, contributing to the city’s overall development in the coming period.
At the conference, many collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the two-tier local government model in the ward were commended and awarded.
