Hai Phong currently maintains trade relations with more than 130 countries and territories, has established friendly relations with 31 foreign localities, and is implementing 57 international cooperation agreements across various fields. During the 2021–2025 period, the city organized nearly 30 investment promotion missions in almost 20 countries and territories. Through business networking conferences, cooperation forums and major foreign affairs activities, the image of a dynamic, open and potential-rich Hai Phong has been increasingly promoted worldwide. The city has proactively engaged with major corporations and attracted projects in high technology, green industry, supporting industries and modern logistics.
