Hai Phong City has many potentials and advantages for economic development, especially industry and seaports with all 5 types of transportation. After the merger there are a total of 61,000 enterprises. This will also be one of the great potentials. Thanh Hoa province with more than 43,000 enterprises, is also a locality with many advantages in industry, transportation and much room for development in industry, tourism, trade and services. The geographical location of the two cities and provinces creates a difference in investment strengths as well as products, which is a good opportunity for exchanging goods and developing the economy. However, cooperation has not yet been commensurate with the available potential. Many issues have been exchanged and discussed by enterprises of both sides in the spirit of effective coordination, promotion in investment, trade and tourism attraction, with the focus will also be placed on the work of criticism and policy advice for business development and the private economy. Within the framework of the conference, the Association of Enterprises of Hai Phong and Thanh Hoa participated in displaying and introducing typical products to further enhance the trade connectivity between the two localities in the coming time.
