“Thanh Ha Lychee and Outstanding OCOP Products Promotion Week 2026” Held at AEON Mall Hai Phong
On the afternoon of May 22, at AEON Mall Hai Phong, the Hai Phong Department of Industry and Trade organized the “Thanh Ha Lychee and Outstanding OCOP Products Promotion Week of Hai Phong City 2026” under the theme “Connecting – Spreading Local Values.” The event takes place from May 22 to May 24.
This is not only a trade promotion activity to connect supply and demand and support the consumption of local products, but also an opportunity to introduce Hai Phong’s distinctive and representative products, rich in local cultural and culinary identity to residents and visitors.
This year’s promotion week featured many signature product groups from Hai Phong, especially fresh and processed agricultural products, with Vải thiều Thanh Hà as the key product. This specialty fruit is not only economically valuable but also a source of pride for local people, cultivated through generations of farming experience and produced according to VietGAP and GlobalGAP standards. The product is currently exported to many markets, including the United States, Australia, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, several European countries, and the traditional Chinese market.
The event also showcased a variety of dried fruit products made from natural ingredients using modern technology, helping increase agricultural value through deep processing and meeting increasingly diverse consumer demands.
In addition to key agricultural products, the event introduced herbal teas and health-care products with refreshing flavors and high nutritional value, aligned with current trends toward green, safe, and healthy consumption. These products also reflect the orientation toward sustainable green agriculture and the harmonious use of natural resources.
Traditional cakes and nutritional products carrying the characteristic flavors of Northern Vietnam’s Red River Delta region also attract consumers’ attention. Though simple, these refined products evoke childhood memories for many Vietnamese generations while combining traditional values with modern nutritional needs.
The processed food, seafood specialties, and signature Hai Phong culinary products on display combine traditional flavors with modern processing and preservation technologies. These products help recreate the familiar and rustic yet culturally rich culinary identity of Northern Vietnam and the port city of Hai Phong, offering consumers authentic local gastronomic experiences.
The “Thanh Ha Lychee and Outstanding OCOP Products Promotion Week of Hai Phong City 2026” is not only a product exhibition space but also a platform connecting businesses, cooperatives, production households, consumers, and modern distribution systems. Through this event, local product values are gradually expanded, markets are broadened, and the Hai Phong agricultural and OCOP product brands are developed in a more professional and sustainable manner.
In addition, the program included activities introducing financial services, digital payment solutions, and promotional offers for shoppers attending the event. These activities contribute to creating a modern trade-promotion environment, encouraging cashless payments and supporting digital transformation in commercial and consumer activities.
