Inauguration of Tan Cang Lach Huyen Logistics Center: Completing the Northern Gateway Logistics Ecosystem May 27, 2026 – 14:58
On the morning of May 27, at the Xuan Cau Industrial Park and Non-Tariff Zone within the Dinh Vu – Cat Hai Economic Zone, the Tan Cang Lach Huyen Logistics Center was officially inaugurated, marking a new stage in the development of the Saigon Newport port and logistics ecosystem in northern Vietnam.

The delegates performed the inauguration ceremony for the Tan Cang Lach Huyen Logistics Center.
The Tan Cang Lach Huyen Logistics Center is a key investment project developed with the orientation of becoming a leading green, synchronized, and modern logistics center in northern Vietnam, while also serving as an important link in Saigon Newport’s port and logistics ecosystem.
The project was established through cooperation between Tan Cang Marine Services Joint Stock Company under Brigade 20 – Saigon Newport Corporation, and Lach Huyen International Deep-Sea Port Industrial Park and Logistics Company under Xuan Cau Holdings. Both enterprises are highly reputable and possess strong capabilities in seaport operations, logistics, and industrial infrastructure.
Mr. Tran Van Phuong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People’s Council of Cat Hai Special Administrative Zone, delivered remarks at the inauguration ceremony.
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Tri also delivered a speech at the opening ceremony of the logistics center.
Tan Cang Lach Huyen is pioneering the provision of integrated and comprehensive logistics services, including container depots, bonded warehouses, CFS warehouses, inland warehouses, and value-added logistics services. These services contribute to improving cargo handling capacity and completing the modern logistics ecosystem at the Lach Huyen Deep-Sea Port Cluster.
The logistics center has a total area of 40 hectares. In Phase 1, 12.4 hectares have been put into operation with a capacity of 8,000 TEUs, operated by four modern electric-powered RTG cranes. The warehouse system covers nearly 30,000 square meters, including CFS warehouses, bonded warehouses, general warehouses, and various value-added supply chain services.
The project is being developed as the first green logistics model in Lach Huyen, gradually applying international standards in operations, supply chain security, and environmental protection, aiming toward sustainable logistics development.
Delegates also toured the operating system of the Tan Cang Lach Huyen Logistics Center.
Located directly behind the Lach Huyen deep-sea port cluster, the logistics center enjoys strong connectivity advantages to international seaports, expressways, and key industrial centers in the region. In particular, its proximity to the planned Vietnam–China railway corridor is expected to position the project as a strategic link in the cross-border logistics network, enhancing transshipment capacity, strengthening trade connectivity, and reinforcing support functions for the Lach Huyen deep-sea port complex.
The project also demonstrates the long-term vision and commitment of the investors to putting customers at the center while accompanying the business community through a transparent, efficient, and highly connected cooperative environment.
