Vibrant Vietnam–Korea Artistic Exchange Held at Bach Dang Walking Street
The leaders of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Le Thanh Nghi Ward presented flowers to the Bujihwa Art Troupe.
The program was part of a series of activities celebrating the Red Flamboyant Festival 2026 and commemorating the 71st anniversary of Hai Phong Liberation Day, contributing to strengthening friendship and cultural exchange between the peoples of Vietnam and South Korea.
Speaking at the event, Bui Ngoc Hai, Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs, emphasized that the artistic exchange activities not only created a unique cultural space for local residents but also served as a bridge to further promote sustainable cooperation and friendship between Vietnam and South Korea.
The highlight of the evening was the impressive performances by the Bujihwa Art Troupe. Artist Pyo Suna and other members of the troupe delivered energetic modern drum performances that combined traditional Korean music, K-pop, and familiar Vietnamese melodies, creating a lively and captivating atmosphere.
In particular, the Modum Buk performance and the modern percussion pieces under the PSA concept, created and choreographed by Pyo Suna, left a strong impression on the audience thanks to their harmonious blend of modern music and traditional Korean cultural identity.
In addition to the international performances, the program also featured many outstanding musical acts by local performers, including “Hai Phong Phai Long” (“Falling in Love with Hai Phong”), “Nha Toi Co Treo Mot La Co” (“A Flag Hangs in My Home”), “Le Thanh Nghi – Ngan Trai Tim Yeu Thuong” (“Le Thanh Nghi – A Thousand Loving Hearts”), “Trau Cau Quan Ho,” and “Chau Van Suoi Lan.” These performances helped spread pride in the homeland and country, as well as the spirit of community solidarity.
The program concluded with a direct interaction session between the Korean artists and the audience, creating a warm, vibrant, and friendly atmosphere. The artistic exchange evening left many beautiful impressions on local residents and visitors at Bach Dang Walking Street.
