Functional units taking over the task of cleaning and decorating the outside of the Political-Administrative Center and the City's Conference and Performance Center have basically completed the workload, ensuring aesthetics, green, clean and beautiful space, ready to welcome domestic and foreign delegates to attend the ABAC 3 meeting.
Nearly 20 pots of paper flowers with a diameter of 1.2-1.4 m, 45 others of dumb-cane and many ornamental plants have been transported by Hai Phong Green Park Joint Stock Company to decorate the lobby of the City's Conference and Performance Center. By this morning, the unit had basically completed all the tasks of decorating the lobby with flowers and ornamental plants to create a landscape for the event area.
As soon as receiving instructions from the Hai Phong City People's Committee and departments, the company directed the functional departments to clear weeds and decorate some flower trees in the area around the performance center and the administrative center. During the event, the company will arrange maintenance forces to ensure the green color and fresh flowers.
On the median strip of Do Muoi Street leading to the city's political-administrative center, more than 30 officers and workers of Hai Phong Lighting Joint Stock Company are focusing on installing a decorative lighting system to create an impression at night for this area.
The company is decorating and installing decorative lights on the bombax trees along about 1km of Do Muoi Street with over 120 trees. The company has completed about 80% of the work and is expected to be completed before July 12 to welcome the ABAC 3 meeting in Hai Phong city.
The 3rd meeting of the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC 3) in 2025 will take place in Hai Phong from July 15-18, 2025. The preparation has been seriously placed focus on by functional units and is expected to be completed before July 12. During the event, the units has also arranged forces to be on duty, maintain environmental sanitation, take care of flowers and ornamental plants, promptly handle unexpected problems, ensure a green, clean and beautiful landscape in an effort of creating an unforgettable impression for delegates to Hai Phong to attend the 3rd ABAC Meeting.
