Yesterday saw many important competitions. The Vietnamese team won gold medals in canoeing, taekwondo, swimming, and billiards. Notably, the canoeing was the first gold medal of the day for the Vietnamese team in the women's 500m doubles, thanks to the efforts of two athletes: Nguyễn Thị Hương (from the Hai Phong team) and Diệp Thị Hương (from the Public Security team). This not only kicked off a vibrant day of competition with many medals in other events, but also highlighted the strength of Hai Phong athletes in canoeing and their significant contribution to the overall success of the Vietnamese sports delegation.
