The event was also attended by Bui Van Thang, member of the Standing Committee of the Hai Phong Party Committee and Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, as well as local residents. To ensure the campaign “All People Join Hands to Protect the Environment for a Green, Clean and Beautiful Hai Phong” is implemented extensively and effectively, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nguyen Binh Khiem Commune called on agencies, organizations, units and residents to strengthen public awareness efforts, promote behavioral change, and integrate environmental protection into households, villages and workplaces, making it a daily habit.
Under the spirit of “One Citizen – One Green Action,” residents, union members and association members are encouraged to take practical measures to protect the environment, including sorting household waste at source, minimizing the use of plastic bags and single-use plastic products, and maintaining regular environmental clean-up activities at agencies, organizations, villages and public areas.
Villages and mass organizations are also encouraged to continue promoting, maintaining and expanding effective environmental protection models and practices across the commune, ensuring a green, clean and beautiful environment and preventing pollution.
