As Hai Phong's largest annual event dedicated to innovation and entrepreneurship, Techfest Hai Phong 2026 will bring together government agencies, leading experts, research institutes, universities, businesses, investment funds, and startup communities from Viet Nam and abroad. The event will also welcome partners from countries with advanced science and technology sectors, including Japan, South Korea, and Singapore.
The exhibition will showcase cutting-edge technologies and emerging innovation trends, including artificial intelligence (AI), big data, the Internet of Things (IoT), blockchain, semiconductor technology, green technology, robotics, intelligent automation, digital transformation, the digital economy, new energy solutions, and other technologies supporting sustainable development.
The event comes at a significant milestone for the city's innovation ecosystem. In May 2026, StartupBlink ranked Hai Phong's startup ecosystem for the first time on its Global Startup Ecosystem Index, placing the city 765th worldwide and 23rd in Southeast Asia. This recognition provides a strong foundation for Techfest Hai Phong to expand its scale, strengthen international partnerships, and foster closer collaboration among businesses, investors, research institutions, and startups.
According to the Organizing Committee, Techfest Hai Phong 2026 is expected to feature 120–150 technology exhibition booths and attract thousands of delegates, entrepreneurs, experts, and investors from Vietnam and overseas.
The two-day event will include a series of major activities, such as the International Innovation Forum: "From Ideas to Market", the Policy Forum: "Advancing Hai Phong's Innovation Ecosystem through Special Policy Mechanisms", the seminar "KIST–Hai Phong Technology Bridge: From Research to Practical Application", technology supply and demand matching sessions, innovation talent networking events and business partnership activities connecting enterprises with research institutes and universities. 
A key highlight of Techfest Hai Phong 2026 will be the themed exhibition "Voyage of the Five Tech Ports," inspired by Hai Phong's identity as Viet Nam's premier port city. The exhibition will showcase innovative technologies, breakthrough products, and outstanding startup models.
Through its exhibition, specialized seminars, investment networking forums, technology demonstrations, and international exchange activities, Techfest Hai Phong 2026 aims to build an open innovation ecosystem that effectively connects knowledge, technology, and financial resources. The event is expected to further promote science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation, while creating new momentum for the sustainable development of businesses and Hai Phong City.
