Red Flamboyant Festival – Hai Phong 2026: Welcoming Performances by International Art Troupes
As part of the key activities of the Red Flamboyant Festival – Hai Phong 2026 and the 71st anniversary of Liberation Day of Hai Phong (May 13, 1955 – May 13, 2026), the city of Hai Phong will host to organize cultural exchange programs and artistic performances featuring international art troupes.

This event not only enriches the festival’s content but also serves as a cultural bridge to strengthen solidarity and promote the image of this dynamic port city to international friends.
A highlight of this series of external cultural activities is a special performance marking the 20th anniversary of the sister-city relationship between Hai Phong and Nanning (Guangxi, China). According to the plan, the Nanning Art Troupe will present an official performance on the evening of May 9, 2026, at the Hai Phong Opera House. With careful preparation, the foreign artists will bring forth impressive music and dance performances showcasing the distinctive cultural beauty of Guangxi, highlighting the strong ties and cooperation between the two cities after two decades of friendship.
Alongside the Chinese troupe, the 2026 Red Flamboyant Festival will also feature the Bujihwa Art Troupe from South Korea. Their presence will promise fresh, modern, and unique cultural colors, meeting the artistic and cultural enjoyment needs of local residents and both domestic and international visitors.
Inviting international art troupes to perform during this year’s festival reaffirms Hai Phong’s position in international integration and its efforts to build a diverse and culturally rich environment. To ensure the success of the programs, the city’s People’s Committee has directed other relevant departments to thoroughly prepare logistics, security, and technical stage arrangements to facilitate the best conditions for international artists to shine and deliver high-quality performances to audiences in the port city.
