Promoting green transformation in industrial parks
The Hai Phong Economic Zone Authority organized a conference on developing eco-industrial parks associated with green transformation and sustainable growth. The event was attended by companies investing in, building and operating industrial park infrastructure.
The event aimed to implement tasks assigned by the Hai Phong People’s Committee under Resolution No. 08 issued by the City Party Committee dated Jan. 29, 2026 regarding the city’s green transformation strategy for 2020-2030, with a vision to 2050.
Hai Phong currently leads the country with two industrial parks piloting conversion into eco-industrial parks: Nam Cau Kien Industrial Park and Dinh Vu Industrial Park. Among newly established industrial parks, Vinh Quang Industrial Park and Japan-Hai Phong 2 Industrial Park have been approved under the eco-industrial park model.
The conference focused on analyzing the benefits of eco-industrial park development and incentives stipulated under current regulations.
