Running about 90 minutes across three acts, the program reenacts the formation and growth of the port city, celebrates Hai Phong’s cultural identity and people, and portrays the city’s aspiration to reach out to the sea in its new development phase. More than a large‑scale show, “Sea Aspiration” is a tribute to the port city’s traditions, aiming to evoke pride and a spirit of contribution among Hai Phong residents as they build a more prosperous, civilized and modern city.
