Improving air transport services to international standards
As Hai Phong has developed in recent years, Cat Bi International Airport has continuously improved its services to airlines in line with international standards.
The airport recently received the ISAGO certification from the International Air Transport Association (IATA), one of the world's most rigorous standards for ground handling safety, marking a major step toward standardizing its operations.

Passenger and cargo throughput at Cat Bi International Airport continued to grow during the first months of this year. The airport has stepped up the application of technology in its operations, streamlined passenger service processes, improved ground handling services, strengthened security and safety measures, and enhanced operational efficiency.

Improving the quality of air transport services not only meets the travel and trade needs of people and businesses, but also helps attract high-quality investment while promoting trade, tourism and import-export activities. Several key projects are currently under way at the airport. Once completed, they are expected to enhance its operational and service capacity, strengthen its competitiveness, and reinforce Hai Phong's position on the regional and international logistics map.
