Industrial development, end-to-end logistics promoted
After the merger, Hai Phong city will open up expectations for a development space, becoming a leading model in regional linkage, sustainable industrial development, end-to-end logistics and high-quality investment attraction.

 The investment policy of the Investment Project to build terminals No. 9, No. 10, No. 11 and No. 12 in Lach Huyen port, Hai Phong City has been recently approved in Government’s Decision No. 1497.The project aims at building 4 container terminals. 9, No. 10, No. 11 and No. 12 in Lach Huyen port, Hai Phong city, contributing to the formation of a modern seaport system, with the ability to handle large vessels with a capacity of 12,000 - 18,000 TEUs, connect large seaports with non-tariff zones and logistics behind the port, speed up the circulation of goods. The project has just been approved to help enhance advantages, create momentum for development, attract investment, maximize the advantages of natural conditions and geographical location to develop Dinh Vu - Cat Hai Economic Zone (the seaport system, logistics and industrial park adjacent to the port). The project is also consistent with the master plan for the development of Vietnam's seaport system in the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050; contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of Hai Phong city in particular and the Northern region in general.
