This morning, in Viet Khe commune, the Department of Agriculture and Environment coordinated with Dai Thanh Joint Stock Company to organize a workshop to introduce the model "Technology Field in rice production to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, associated with green growth". 

This is the first model in Hai Phong that has synchronously applied many modern equipment and technologies in large-scale rice production.
Outstanding technologies deployed synchronously in the model include rice field leveling machine with satellite positioning technology; GPS navigation device; Unmanned aircraft; Intermittent water-saving irrigation system; high-quality rice variety JO2 for superior yield and rice quality, in line with export standards. The implementation of the “Technology Field” model is not only a step forward in farming mechanization, but also a concrete demonstration of the integration of digital technology – smart agriculture and green growth strategy in Hai Phong city. The model demonstrates advanced production thinking, in line with the orientation of developing smart – sustainable – climate change-responsive agriculture, contributing to realizing the city’s green growth goal in the period 2025–2030.
