Ba Tong pumping station is one of 3 large pumping stations managed by Hai Phong Drainage One Member Co., Ltd. The entire technical equipment system has been carefully prepared from the maintenance and repair of the rainwater pumping station generator system, to the test run to ensure smooth operation during the typhoon.

Furthermore, the company has collected garbage and reserved fuel to ensure that the pumping stations operate continuously for 2 days and nights to prevent widespread power outages. The work of lowering the buffer water level has also been continuously adjusted in accordance with updating the typhoon developments, with the coordination of related sectors.

The company plans to arrange full staff on duty all around the clock at the entire system of large pumping stations such as Ba Tong Pumping Station, Vinh Niem Pumping Station, May Den Pumping Station and a number of drainage pumping stations, supplement more leaders and technical staffs at large pumping stations to promptly take solutions in case of incidents.
