HAI PHONG LEADERS MEET INTERNATIONAL DELEGATIONS
On the morning of July 15, Mr. Le Ngoc Chau, Deputy Secretary of Hai Phong Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee received delegations of Ambassadors and business groups on their working visit to Hai Phong city to expand cooperation and promote investment in the City. Mr. Le Trung Kien, member of the Standing Party Committee, Head of Hai Phong Economic Zone Authority attended the meeting.
On the morning of July 15, Mr. Le Ngoc Chau, Deputy Secretary of Hai Phong Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee received delegations of Ambassadors and business groups on their working visit to Hai Phong city to expand cooperation and promote investment in the City. Mr. Le Trung Kien, member of the Standing Party Committee, Head of Hai Phong Economic Zone Authority attended the meeting.
The Chairman of the City People's Committee welcomed Mr. Karl Van Den Bossche, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to Vietnam and Mr. Bruno Jasaert, Chairman of the European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (Eurocham). He highly appreciated the role of the Belgian business community, as well as Belgian development organizations for their investment into the city. The Chairman of the City People's Committee hopes that the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium and the Chairman of Eurocham will continue to pay attention to and support enterprises in implementing investment projects in Hai Phong in a wide range of fields, especially in such fields of environment, education and training and high-quality human resources development. The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to Vietnam and the Chairman of EUROCHAM expressed their impression of Hai Phong's strong development, hoped that the city's leaders will continue to accompany Belgian and European companies, at the same time committed to supporting the city in promoting the image, people, potentials and strengths of Hai Phong, so that more and more Belgian and European enterprises will pour investment into the city.
Also yesterday morning, during a courtesy meeting with Mr. Remon Vos, General Director of CTP Group, Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau spoke highly of the Group's capacity in the field of industrial park infrastructure construction. He hoped that the Group will survey and explore opportunities to participate in industrial park infrastructure construction projects, ready to attract foreign investors, especially those from Europe. Appreciating the potential and advantages of Hai Phong, the General Director of CTP Group hoped that in the coming time, he will continue to receive the support and facilitation of Hai Phong City leaders so that the Group can implement projects in the city as well as exchange experience and effectively tighten cooperation in management and operation of industrial parks, building a professional, transparent and sustainable investment environment.
Then, the Chairman of the City People's Committee received a courtesy call from Mr. Jaya Ratnam, Ambassador of Singapore to Vietnam. He sincere thanked the Singapore Government, the embassy and business community for the effective cooperation and support. He stressed that Singapore is a trustworthy friend who has made active contribution to the sustainable development of Hai Phong city. The chairman affirmed that Hai Phong city will create all conditions to promote investment cooperation in key industrial projects, implement signed memoranda of understanding and pay attention to expanding cooperation in the fields of green transformation and digitalization. In the spirit of friendship, trust and mutual development, the Singaporean Ambassador to Vietnam pledged to continue to accompany the city so that Singaporean organizations and enterprises can effectively expand their investment for a long-term in Hai Phong. On this occasion, Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau expressed his gratitude to and welcomed the delegations to attend the Investment Promotion Conference within the framework of the 3rd Session of the APEC Business Advisory Council, the city's largest foreign affairs and investment promotion event of the year.
