HMT Hai Phong New Material Technology Co., Ltd. is a 100% foreign-invested enterprise, established in August 2018, with a total investment of 87 million USD; specializing in manufacturing and producing passive safety components for automobiles, with the main product being automobile airbags. Realizing the favorable development momentum in Hai Phong City, the company has built a new factory with an area of ​​over 32,000 m2 in a campus of over 54,000 m2. The project applies new technology, saves energy, and is going to be officially put into operation with an expected capacity of 30,200,000 airbag sets/year; the output of fabric of all kinds for airbags is to reach 12,500,000 m/year. The company has employed about 1,000 workers.
