During this year's Youth Month, more than 150,000 youth union members and young people across the city took part in volunteer activities. Thousands of gifts and scholarships, along with numerous youth-led projects and initiatives, were delivered to disadvantaged areas and people in need.

As part of the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign, the Hai Phong Youth Union coordinated the distribution of 200 gifts worth a total of 200 million dong to young needy workers. Other activities included Humanity Houses, Red Scarf Houses, children's playgrounds and free medical examinations and treatment.

Beyond providing material support, the activities have helped spread a sense of responsibility, compassion and solidarity throughout the community.
