At the Hai Duong Social Protection Center for People with Mental Illness (Tran Hung Dao ward), Deputy Secretary Do Thanh Trung presented 66 gift packages from the General Secretary and State President to wounded and sick soldiers at the center, each worth VND 5 million per person. He acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the center’s staff in caring for people with meritorious service and their families.
He expressed deep gratitude for the great sacrifices and contributions of wounded and sick soldiers in the cause of national liberation and reunification. The visit and gift-giving activity reflected the Party, State and local authorities’ tradition of “when drinking water, remember its source” toward people with meritorious service, especially on major national anniversaries.
