It has instructed its affiliate and relevant agencies to inspect substations, transmission lines, and equipment, address connection issues and monitor temperatures to help prevent potential power disruptions.
Local power units are also working with authorities to promote energy conservation, especially during peak hours from 9 a.m. to noon and from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
They are urging residents not to fly kites, release metallic paper objects or throw items onto power lines, and to avoid violating power line safety corridors.
The company has assigned leadership, operations and emergency response teams to remain on duty around the clock throughout the holiday period, ensuring any incidents can be handled promptly.
