Traffic rerouting at Dong bai ferry terminal from April 25
To ensure traffic safety and ease congestion on roads leading to the Dong Bai ferry terminal in Cat Hai Special Zone, the Hai Phong Department of Construction has announced traffic rerouting measures for vehicles using the ferry service.

Private cars and trucks traveling from the mainland to Cat Ba Island will not be allowed to board the Dong Bai ferry from April 25 to May 3, 2026.
The same restrictions will apply on weekends from May 9 through September 30, 2026. The suspension will be in effect daily from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. During these hours, visitors can travel to Cat Ba Island by cable car, high-speed boat or bus.
