Greening vocational training in logistics
A seminar on sharing experiences in greening vocational education and announcing a green logistics module was recently held at Maritime College No.1 as part of the project “Development of Green Logistics Modules for Vocational Training to Support Green Transition in Vietnam.” The event was attended by representatives of the Embassy of Denmark, management agencies, businesses, experts, lecturers, and students.
The project is being implemented by Maritime and Waterway College No.1 with funding from the Government of Denmark. As green transition becomes an inevitable global trend, integrating green skills into training programs has become an urgent requirement for the vocational education system.
The seminar also provided an opportunity for experts to share experiences on green transition and discuss the requirements for businesses and educational institutions in adapting to this trend. According to experts, green transition is placing urgent demands on the logistics sector and the vocational education system in training a workforce equipped with green skills to meet labor market demands.
