Foreigners celebrate Tet in Hai Phong
Alongside strong growth in foreign investment in recent years, many foreigners have grown fond of and attached to Hai Phong, considering the city their second hometown.

Immersing themselves in the traditional Lunar New Year atmosphere in this dynamic and hospitable port city, foreigners have the opportunity to gain deeper understanding of distinctive Vietnamese cultural features, further strengthening their attachment to Hai Phong city. Tet welcoming activities such as banh chung wrapping contests and five-fruit tray arrangement competitions provide workers with space to relax and balance work and life, while enhancing cultural exchange and creating a warm and united atmosphere between Vietnamese and Korean employees within enterprises. This year, around 100 Korean nationals chose to stay and celebrate Vietnamese Tet. The Lunar New Year serves as a bridge strengthening Hai Phong’s friendship with many countries around the world.
