Mr. Do Manh Hien visited and presented gifts to: Mr. Nguyen Van Vinh, born in 1948, a wounded soldier with an 83% rate of bodily impairment and a person who participated in the resistance war and was exposed to chemical toxins, residing at No. 15/339 Mieu Hai Xa Street; Mr. Phung The Mui, born in 1955, a sick soldier with a 61% rate of bodily impairment, residing at No. 349 Cho Hang Street; and Ms. Pham Thi Xuan, born in 1945, the wife of martyr Nguyen Van Quang, residing at No. 233 Cho Hang Street.

During the visits, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Haiphong Party Committee Do Manh Hien kindly inquired about the health, living conditions, and daily lives of the wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and relatives of martyrs. He expressed his profound gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices made by these families in the cause of national liberation and the defense of the Fatherland.

The Standing Deputy Secretary wished the individuals and families good health, happiness, and a fulfilling life. He also hoped that they would continue promoting the nation’s proud revolutionary traditions, serving as exemplary role models for younger generations and descendants, and actively contributing to the overall development of the local community.

On this occasion, the Standing Deputy Secretary requested that agencies, departments, mass organizations, and local authorities continue to uphold the nation’s tradition of “When drinking water, remember its source,” demonstrating care and responsibility by providing timely support, addressing urgent needs, and ensuring thoughtful assistance for people with meritorious contributions to the revolution.
