In the first six months of this year, Hai Phong's domestic budget revenue reached 60.155 trillion VND, up 103%compared with the same period last year.

A key highlight is the continued improvement in the revenue structure. Revenue from production and business activities accounted for approximately 72% of total budget revenue, a significant increase from 58% in the same period of 2025.

Notably, revenue from the non-state economic sector accounted for 40–42% of total budget revenue in many localities, indicating that private enterprises and household businesses remain important contributors to the state budget.

To sustain this momentum, the Hai Phong Tax Department will develop budget revenue collection scenarios tailored to the actual conditions of each locality and sector. It will continue implementing effective measures to support businesses and residents, remove obstacles to production and business activities, and foster sustainable revenue sources.

At the same time, the tax sector will strengthen the review of extraordinary revenue sources, enhance inspections and monitoring of tax declarations, and intensify risk analysis related to taxation and electronic invoices, particularly in sectors with a high risk of tax fraud, underreporting, or failure to declare taxable revenue.
