In Thanh Ha commune, the delegation visited Thanh Son Agricultural Service Cooperative, studied about the ancient lychee tree and the purchasing, processing, and export of agricultural products at Ameii Vietnam Joint Stock Company. They also visited Quang Hai Company Limited in Cat Hai Special Economic Zone and the agricultural production model at Song Gia Investment and Development Cooperative in Luu Kiem ward.
At the meeting with the Hai Phong City Cooperative Union, both sides exchanged details on the development of the collective economy, introduced OCOP products and Hai Phong's specialties, and discussed opportunities for cooperation and trade promotion with the Lao market.
The Lao embassy delegation expressed hope that cooperatives and businesses in Hai Phong would continue to promote cooperation and investment in Laos, especially in developing raw material areas, processing, and marketing agricultural products. The visit contributed to concretizing collective economic cooperation, expanding markets, and fostering the special traditional friendship between Vietnam and Laos.
