During the reception, the delegates were introduced to the history and accomplishments of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in Hai Phong City and the efforts to promote Japanese culture among the youth in Hai Phong City. In 2023, Hai Phong City plans to organize various activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan, aiming to strengthen the ties and understanding between the youth of both countries. Mr. Yoshimasa Sumiya expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and agreed to collaborate in organizing programs and activities to foster friendship between the youth of the two countries to contribute to the socio-economic development of Hai Phong (Vietnam) and Gunma (Japan) in the future.
