CAU TRUNG COMMUNAL HOUSE HISTORICAL RELIC
Cau Trung Communal House, formerly in Quang Hung Commune, An Lao District, now An Quang Commune, is not only a cultural and religious architectural work of the locals but also a historical relic of the resistance war associated with the uprising to seize power in An Lao on August 17, 1945. Visiting the communal house during the historic August days, the memories of the Viet Minh team of Cau Trung village still live in the memories of every local resident.

In mid-1944, the first Viet Minh team of Cau Trung village was established, consisting of 3 members of Ngô Xuân Lựu, Quốc Hiệu and Phan Hiền. After more than half a year of operation, the team expanded a widespread revolutionary base to neighboring villages and communes, established the Cau Trung self-defense team of 12 members. Cau Trung Communal House became the command base of the Viet Minh of An Lao District in the old time. Here, political and military training classes were regularly held to prepare for the general uprising. It is the liaison place between the District Viet Minh Leadership Board and the revolutionary bases of communes.
PB:
With its great evidence and contributions to the history of the Vietnamese revolution, on January 28, 2005, the People's Committee of Hai Phong City decided to recognize Cau Trung communal house as a historical relic of the resistance war. On the occasion of the 67th founding anniversary of the first Communist Party of Vietnam cell of the commune (March 12, 1948 - March 12, 2015), the Party Committee, government and people of Quang Hung commune were honored to receive the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces during the resistance war against French colonialists.
