The program was organized by the Hai Phong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in collaboration with the Hai Phong Contemporary Arts Theater. It aimed to honor the noble values of family life while raising public awareness of building happy, equal, progressive, and violence-free families.
The performance featured a selection of heartfelt songs celebrating family love, including “Three Glowing Candles,” “Mother Loves You,” “Mother Never Told Me,” “Father, You’ve Grown Old, haven't you?,” “A Bowl of Simple Rice,” “Dad Tells Me Stories,” “A Mother’s Dream,” and “The Vast Sky Days.”
The program also included songs expressing love for the homeland and the nation, such as “Hai Phong Glows Red with Flaming Phoenix Flowers,” “Improvisation of the Seaport Region,” “My City,” the medley “Love for the Homeland,” and “Hai Phong Shines Bright.”
Through this commemorative performance, audiences were reminded that the family is the fundamental unit of society. Every happy home helps nurture compassionate and sustainable communities, and together these communities form the foundation of a strong, prosperous, and thriving nation.
