Hai Phong Department of Industry and Trade has coordinated with the Department of Multilateral Trade Policy, Ministry of Industry and Trade to organize the Workshop "ASEAN Economic Community and ways to take advantages of commitments in ASEAN Free Trade Agreements of which Viet Nam is a member Business representatives were updated with important information related to the advantages of FTA that can be taken to boost exports to the ASEAN market, such as the implementation status, review, upgrading and negotiation of FTAs in ASEAN and between ASEAN and partners, Summary of new points in the Rules of Origin of goods of ASEAN FTAs..., thereby improving the effectiveness of FTA, contributing to promoting the export turnover of Hai Phong city.
Also at the workshop, there was a dialogue between representatives of state agencies and the business community on recommendations for the leather, footwear, textile and garment industries and other products exported to the ASEAN market.
