Delegation Le Tien Chau met the working delegation of TCL Technology Group led by Mr. Wang Cheng - Executive Director on their working visit to Hai Phong city. Mr. Le Ngoc Chau - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People Committee members of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, leaders of relevant committees and departments also received the delegation.
Informing the working delegation about the city socio-economy, potentials and advantages in terms of geo-economics, transport infrastructure, human resources and a favorable investment environment, Secretary of the City Party Committee Le Tien Chau emphasized that these are the competitive advantages of Hai Phong City. He stressed that Hai Phong always welcomes foreign investors to invest in Hai Phong, including TCL Group. Hai Phong is committed to creating all favorable conditions for businesses to invest in the city in terms of administrative procedures, land, tax incentives, high-quality human resource, and clean energy.
Hai Phong proposed that the group study and invest in an Innovation Center; build ma technology ecosystem in the city.
At the meeting, Mr. Wang Cheng - CEO of TCL Group said that In Viet Nam, TCL currently has 4 production facilities with a total investment of 310 million USD, expected to increase to 590 million USD by 2027. The Group's investment projects in manufacturing LCD panels and modules have contributed to attracting supporting industry supply chain to Viet N am. In 2024, TCL in Vietnam achieved the revenue of 1.22 billion USD, an increase of 11.9%; production value of 1.35 billion USD, an increase of 14.6%.
