In the spirit of  the direction of the Politburo on overcoming the aftermaths of floods in the Central region, in response to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, on the afternoon of November 24, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the Hai Phong National Assembly Delegation Le Tien Chau  and members of the Standing Committee of Hai Phong Party Committee called for the support for those affected by natural disasters and floods in a bid to accompany and somehow share with the people of the Central and Central Highlands regions. It shows the affection of the Party Committee, government, army and people of Hai Phong for the residents in flood-stricken areas. Today, localities, agencies and units in the city continue donating to support them with practical activities.
