The Vinh Quang Industrial Park Phase 1 project was approved by the Prime Minister earlier this year. The project covers on an area of over 164 hectares in Vinh Hai and Vinh Bao communes. This industrial park is oriented towards an ecological model, applying modern technology, aiming at sustainable development. When completed, the project will open up many socio-economic opportunities for the locality. In Vinh Hai commune, where more than 596 households are affected, 100% of the task of site clearance has been completed. The residents have created favorable conditions for the upcoming construction phase of the project.

In contrast to Vinh Hai, in Vinh Bao commune, 36 out of 323 households have approved plans but have not received compensation and have not yet handed over the site. The local government is focusing maximum human resources to complete the site clearance on time. The project's slow progress not only affects investment attraction but also slows down development opportunities for the entire southern region of the city. Early site clearance and favorable conditions for investors to implement the project is an urgent requirement so as to develop Vinh Quang Industrial Park become a new driving force for Hai Phong's growth in the coming years.
