Members of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairmen of the City People's Council and People's Committee, leaders of different departments, localities, units, and a large number of people attended the event.
The event is a highlight in a series of cultural activities in celebration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day. At the City Theater Square, the program "Echo of heroic songs" staged by Hai Phong Center of Culture, Cinema and Exhibition consisted of 2 parts. Part 1 "The Country Full of Joy" opened in a solemn atmosphere. The square of the Eastern Cultural Center was lit up with the program “Brilliant Vietnam” performed by the Eastern Cheo Theater. The event gathered famous singers from inside and outside the city. The enthusiastic cheers of the audience created an exciting atmosphere. The program is considered a tribute to the past and an affirmation of the will to rise in the present and future of the army and people of the heroic city so that each Hai Phong resident could grasp their responsibility and aspiration to build up a rich, civilized city and country. The event closed with awesome fireworks at both locations, demonstrating Hai Phong's trust and strong aspiration to rise in the new era.
